Here's a new article authored by myself, Earl Aguilera, Elisabeth Gee, and Frank Serafini. We demonstrate several theoretical perspectives that can be used to analyze picturebook apps. These perspectives highlight different features of picturebook apps and provide researchers with different insights about these texts.
We use The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore to explore these perspectives and demonstrate how they can be used to illuminate different aspects of the narrative.
